I'm a marathon runner, Nutritionist, yogi and yes, my favourite food is kale. I believe that food is fuel and should be enjoyed, not feared. What I'm most passionate about is seeing you succeed through fuelling the best version of yourself.
I studied Exercise Science and Nutrition at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia. Though my curiosity with nutrition began when I was 17 – obsessed with watching tennis, football and ironman, I pondered how through nutrition these incredible athletes could maximise performance.
Following University I spent eight years working in corporate health and although it brought me the most incredible experiences, such as living in New York City, it lead to the worst health of my life. I clearly remember the day my hairdresser broke the news: my hair was falling out. A result of juggling study, work, travel, marathon training, heart ache (at the time) and I was burned out. I also discovered I had parasites and my period had left me for over a year. That was a turning point.
From that point, through lifestyle and nutrition, I've rebuilt my health from the inside out. Remember, all health begins in the gut. The personal experience is proof that through nutrition we can fuel the best version of ourselves. It took the worst health of my life to fuel a turning point, I don't want the same for you. Perhaps now is your turning point?
I have a bachelor’s degree in Health Science, majoring in Exercise Science and Nutrition. I’m an Associate of the Nutrition Society of Australia, registered with the Complimentary Medicine Association and a certified Integrative Health Coach.
I specialise in supporting active women to feel and perform their best. In the process it may mean we address all or some of the following: hormone imbalances, gut health challenges, fat loss requirements, sports nutrition, nutritional deficiencies, lifestyle, stress, inflammation and possibly more.
My recipes are plant based because I believe the world needs inspiration to eat fewer animals.
I am not just a Nutritionist, yogi or runner. Rather, I am the luckiest person in the world because I get to work with individuals to maximise their potential through what they choose to put on their plate.
