Hemp & Cacao Bliss Balls

Despite what the diet industry tried to teach us in the 90's, it is ok and beneficial in many circumstances to nourish yourself with three square meals a day - you can learn more about that in Count on Nutrients, but to Count Calories? However, there are some days and stages of life where snacks are absolutely necessary. These include those long days with early starts or late finishes, high intensity training days, pregnancy, breast feeding, hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA) and in the transition stages between a standard western diet and a healthy fat, whole food plant based diet. And let's face it, some days you just need a chocolate hit and that's ok!

These Hemp & Cacao Bliss Balls are perfect for any one of these scenarios. The recipe has been tailored to provide a tasty, satiating, lower sugar and naturally higher protein snack that anyone (regardless of skill levels in the kitchen) can whip up.
