Kiwi & Strawberry Salad

Updated: Apr 18

I created this salad to help my clients and community get more kiwi into their day. Did you know that two kiwi with the skin on provides a research backed treatment for constipation?

Dietary fibre is one mechanism of action, but the kiwi also contains an enzyme (actinidin) which facilitates motility and your bowel motions! It’s been shown to improve bowel motions in IBS - constipation dominant individuals in just 4 weeks.

I love that we can use the power of real food to shape our recipes and ultimately how we feel.

To turn this salad into a meal please add your choice of protein on the side.
